pays special tribute to Rotarians
RCSW plays host to delegates of Zone Institute Meeting
 

RCSW played host on 8th Nov to the visiting delegates attending the recent 2003 Zone Institute meeting from 7th to 9th Nov. This took place at the residence of PDG Ben Chng who graciously hosted the dinner.

In his address, Past RI President Bhichai Rattakul graciously thanked all present and paid special tribute to the "Rotarians at the grass roots" providing the 'hands-on' community work. Rotary's objective to the community would not have been possible without these dedicated individuals at the grass roots. RCSW thanked PRIP Bhichai for the reassuring gesture and wished him and all delegates a pleasant stay and more  successful Rotary years ahead.


RCSW would like to thank PDG Ben Chng and Lily for hosting this dinner.

RCSW will be organizing a Christmas Happy Hour at the Singapore Recreation Club on 10th Dec '03 from 7:00pm onwards at a cost of $20.00 per pax. This is an official Rotary meeting and make up cards will be issued to all visiting Rotarians. Your Rotary spouses are invited and you are welcome to bring guests.

  • Light musical evening with singing of Christmas carols. OHP screen arranged.

  • Rotarians / Spouses / guests are invited to either sing solo / duet / group, or tell a good joke (no RA stuff please!). Prizes for the winning performance will be awarded with compliments from our sponsors.

  • Good sound system / stage. Live musicians (trumpeters, guitarists, organist etc).

  • Long bar for those who want to 'booze'. Free beer whilst stocks last for the early 'birds' and free flow of soft drinks throughout.

  • Excellent menu!
