A Special Christmas Issue - no: 16  /  25 Dec 2003

" It is my prayer that you will
ALL experience
joy , peace and love
in your families and
enduring fellowship with one another "

Dear RCSW Members,

The Christmas season has traditionally been a time when love, joy, peace and goodwill abound.

This year however promises to be one where wars and rumours of wars abound !!

It is my hope that at least within our nation, our families and our Club ... the traditional goodwill of Christmas may still be found !

One of the exhortations of the 4-Way Test is ... "Will it build goodwill and Better Friendship? " .. as Fellowship was a primary reason why Rotary was started in 1905.

It is my prayer during this season and for the coming year that you will ALL experience much joy , peace and love in your families and enduring fellowship with one another. It is my hope to enjoy fellowship with you all at our weekly meetings and appeal to you to set aside Thursday lunch as a priority, as well as our evening or special meetings scheduled.

It has been a half-year of ups and downs and I must be honest and confess that it has been more stressful than fun !! (everyone tells me a President's year should be FUN !!??) Let us work together to make the next half-year more Fun than stressful ?

I remain grateful to my Board and thank you gentlemen, for all your efforts in spite of your busy schedules. Much thanks also to Editor Denis and Major Project Chairman Peter Kong !

My family and I wish all of you a most peaceful Christmas season and a bountiful New Year filled with opportunities and successes!!
