STUDENT EXCHANGE AND SISTER CLUB VISIT

27 students from Cebu, Philippines arrived on Tuesday, 11th May. They were here to participate in a youth - student exchange programme. Their week long programme saw the older group of students immersing themselves with the educational system at National Junior College in Singapore.  The younger group participated in the activities of The Rainbow Centre special school, toured the facilities of the Society for the Physically Disabled and helped out with preparation of logistical supplies for a missionary trip to Cambodia by Wesley Church. They were also taken on a Heritage Walking Tour / Race by the Wesley Mission Department.

They were housed at the Girl's Brigade Centre in Upper Serangoon Road. In their spare time, both groups got to enjoy some of the sights and experiences of Singapore, namely a visit to the Science Centre, Omni-Max Cinema, Sentosa, Chinatown and the Zoo. In addition, some got to experience a home stay programme courtesy of PP Wee Leong How, PP Peter Kong and President Tay Wei Lien.
