From the Programme Committee

"At your Dinner Meeting this Thursday 26th August 2004"
Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, 7pm

Dear fellow Rotarians,

Just a gentle reminder that our last meeting of the month will be held as an evening meeting with the ladies. This shift is for a few months' test period only and is our joint attempt to enhance our programme, fellowship amongst members as well as with our wives. It is a time where we can hold our meetings under less restraining and more relaxing circumstances.

The programme committee is working hard to organize events which are of interest and would, at the same time, benefit members and their families.
We thank all members for their support and at the same time would welcome any suggestions on topics of interest or how we could make your luncheon / dinner programme for RY 2004/05 more interesting.

          Thanking you, programme committee 2004/05.

Our topic for your dinner meeting this Thursday is:

"The Precious Foreskin"

by
our esteem member
Rtn. Dr. Stephen Lim
Consultant Urologist

Synopsis

A history of circumcision and on the various religious beliefs and rituals on this practice will be covered. From a medical perspective, the significance of the foreskin and its usefulness to our manhood will be discussed along with the medical indications for surgery.

All ladies and wives should know more of this precious piece of skin. The topic is suitable for the general audience. Children (N16) would benefit from some sex education ! nothing immoral.

On behalf of the programme committee, we look forward to seeing you this Thursday.

Yours in Rotary

Dr. Bernd Gotze
