Alternative treatments and therapies are increasingly being sought for all sorts of ailments and conditions.  Attendance has been particularly encouraging when such topics are presented.

 

In keeping with this trend, we will present yet another way of coping with the stresses of modern day living with Aromatherapy.  For most guys, this would not be a familiar topic and heres a chance for you to catch up your knowledge in this area.

"Aromatherapy for Your Daily Lives"
Ms Hwang Bon Sian, Aroma therapist, MD Aromawerks

About the speaker:

 

A Chartered Accountant by Profession, she qualified in the UK in 1981 with Arthur Anderson.

 

Upon completion of her professional qualification, she headed back home to work with Warner Communications as an Internal Auditor for the Asian Region, which was then based in Hong Kong.

 

In 1983, she joined another US Corporation; Core Laboratory as a Regional Controller for Southeast Asia based in Singapore.

 

In 1988, she started her own trading company dealing with consumer products, importing and distributing within Singapore & Malaysia.

 

Personal interest led her to the educational and holistic field, she is not only a trained Montessori teacher, but has also learnt Qigong; Reiki; completed her Massage Therapies; and is currently pursuing her qualifications in Scientific Aromatherapy and Kinergetics.

 

Apart from managing two businesses that covers Spa Operation & distribution of Aromatherapy and other products, to a wide range of clientele that covers Hotels to Therapist and Doctors, she provides consultation services covering planning, implementing procedures, designing menus and on hand training of the masseurs.  Sian is also currently coordinating as well as conducting talks/ workshops for the public, individuals, clubs, Corporations and Medical and professional therapists.
