Assistance to 95 Kampongs

17th May 2006

I once attended a make-up in the Rotary Club of Stamford where the speaker was 92 years old. Seating on my right at the lunch table was the former Vice-President of RI who was 93 (and he told me that the oldest member in the club was seating to my left).  Well, this week, we will get to hear from a Rotarian who is 95 and still very much in the thick of action. As they say, football is for kids, and golf is something that you can play long after you have hanged up the boots. However these Rotarians showed that involvement in Rotary and Community Service does not have to stop when you are in the seventies or eighties.
