Our NUS Rotaracters will also be making a presentation for the night for their forthcoming overseas project.  Your support and encouragement for their efforts will be great!

          Please join us this Thursday for a presentation on

 

“Snoring – Not Funny, Not Hopeless”

Dr R E Stanley, Senior Consultant ENT/Head and Neck Surgeon

 

Our speaker Dr R E Stanley was the Head and Senior Consultant in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology (Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery) at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) prior to his setting up his own private practice in 1995 at Gleneagles Medical Centre.  He was also honoured as Visiting Guest Professor in Stanford University Medical Centre, Pallo – Alto, California, USA in 1993.

 

Today, he is the Senior Consultant ENT/Head and Neck Surgeon and Director of Stanley Ear, Nose, Throat & Sinus Centre at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore, which provides comprehensive management of ENT, allergy and snoring-related conditions in both Adults and Children.  Advanced Endoscopic Sinus Surgery for difficult sinus is routinely performed in his practice.

 

Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Snoring and Allergy-related ENT diseases were two subspecialty interests, which he developed in the course of his training and practice of Otorhinolaryngology.

 

Dr Stanley has lectured extensively regionally internationally. He has also organised and directed an Endoscopic Sinus Surgery Course in Ho Chi Minh City and has been guest lecturer in Myanmar, Brunei and Western Australia.  In addition to organising courses, Dr Stanley has performed live Endoscopic Sinus Surgery for demonstration at the Ho Chi Min City University of Medicine and Pharmacy. 

 

In 2001, he became a Fellow of the American Academy of Otorhinolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.  Dr Stanley is also a Member of the American Rhinologic Society and the American Society for Head & Neck Surgery.
