“Bunions
and other Foot Problems”
Dr Yung Shing Wai, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

(Singapore), FRCS (Edinburgh), FAMS (Ortho)
Our
speaker this week, Dr Yung is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a
special interest in Foot Surgery. He works at MD Specialist Healthcare
in the Paragon, and also operates out of Mount Elizabeth Hospital. In
the foot, he manages such problems as bunions and other toe deformities,
flat feet / high arch, fractures and other injuries, Achilles and other
tendon problems, and chronic ankle sprains.
His other
Specialty Interest is in Key Hole Surgery (Arthroscopy)particularly in
the Shoulder, Ankles and the Knees. Arthroscopic Keyhole Surgery can be
done for many shoulder conditions such as Rotator Cuff Tears,
Dislocations, Biceps and other Cartilage tears, Frozen Shoulder.
