The Ghar Project

This week, we will get our Rotaractors to present their project in Nepal where they are helping the homeless.  In order to make their project a success, they require our support both in being present to listen as well as whatever monetary or corporate assistance we can provide.

Similarly, for our own major project, we too need the support of everyone to make it happen.  It is still not too late to grab a few more of your kakis to come for the golf event.

This Thursday.....

At your Lunch Meeting this Thursday 12:45pm, 22nd March 2007,

The Pines, 30 Stevens Road, Singapore 257840

Dear fellow Rotarians,

Please join us this Thursday for a presentation by

"The Ghar Project"

Ms Chia Yi Ling, President, Rotaract Club of Singapore West

This thursday's lunch programme will feature the President of Rotaract Club of Singapore West Pres Chia Yi Ling who is leading a team of presenters (including Ying Sze, Tiong Boon's daughter).

They will present ' The Ghar Project" which is to help house homeless people in Nepal.

I may not be present on that day and would like to request that one of you use your eloquence to gather some support for these young people. They are staging a play, I am not familiar with it, but I understand its an 'old' play given a fresh approach. But it sounds interesting.

They are obviously looking for support but are aware that we frown on 'passing the hat around'. But some words from you, asking for individual and corporate support will mean lots to them.

Yours in Rotary

Ronnie Neo
Service to New Generation Director
