The Straits Times just reported recently that the car insurance business is losing money.  The prospects of higher insurance premium looms ahead as the insurance companies raise charges to re-coup their losses.  As such, it is timely that we hear from our speaker this week how we can maintain our insurance coverage without paying for someone else’s car accident.

We will be having our business meeting after today’s lunch.  Do stay behind to participate in the discussion on the issue of Tan Sri Tay’s scholarship fund.  Please also note that the Annual Fireside Chat will take place next Thursday evening.

Dear fellow Rotarians,

Please join us this Thursday for a presentation

"Are you paying too much for your Car Insurance?"

by Mr Henry Neo

Our speaker this week, Mr Henry Neo, a veteran in the insurance business, will share with you his insights into the car insurance business and what to do in the event of a car accident.  Henry spent most of his career with AIA and created a niche as a service provider to many Singapore Armed Forces personnel.  After more than 20+ years of service, he decided to give it all up due to disagreement with the company’s management of policy benefits.

Over the last couple of years, he specialised in the area of car insurance as an independent broker providing options for car owners for the optimal mix of policy benefits and premium charges.

On behalf of the Programme Committee, we look forward to seeing you this Thursday.

Yours in Rotary,

Michael Chua

Programme Service Director
